ANC WELCOMES RESIGNATION OF SPEAKER MOSES MOALUSI. 

The ANC in the Northern Cape welcomes the resignation of Cde Moses Moalusi, the Speaker of the ZF Mgcawu District Municipality. His resignation follows his temporary suspension from the ANC due to an explicit video that went viral, which involves Cde Moses Moalusi. 

The ANC views his decision to resign as political maturity and willingness to bare the consequences of his actions. The ANC further condemns this incident in the strongest terms and view this video as offensive untoward women, especially during a time when our country is confronted with Gender Based Violence (GBV). 

The ANC is extremely disturbed by this incident and a internal disciplinary processes will commence soon to finalise this matter. It is an unfortunate situation and goes against the values of humanity and that of the ANC.
